OUR PROJECT REVIEWS
IMPROVED MOBILITY AND INDEPENDENCE

ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE
ENHANCED QUALITY LIFE

Jehovah’s Heart Foundation, established in 2019 in Iganga, Uganda, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives by providing care, education, and support to the most vulnerable members of society. As part of our mission, we recognize the immense challenges faced by individuals living with disabilities, particularly in accessing basic healthcare, mobility aids, and other essential resources.

This proposal seeks your support in providing critical treatment, wheelchairs, and other necessary items to empower disabled individuals and improve their quality of life.

BACKGROUND

In Uganda, persons with disabilities often face stigma, limited mobility, and inadequate access to healthcare and rehabilitation services. Many are unable to afford treatment or obtain essential tools like wheelchairs, crutches, and prosthetics, which are crucial for their independence. This situation perpetuates cycles of poverty, exclusion, and dependency.

Jehovah’s Heart Foundation has identified a growing need for targeted support to address these challenges and is committed to bridging the gap for the most vulnerable individuals in Iganga and beyond.
