SAFE HAVEN PROJECT

This project seeks to establish a permanent, safe, and nurturing home for orphans and vulnerable children in Iganga, Uganda.

The proposed facility will provide essential services such as shelter, nutritious food, education, healthcare, and emotional support for 90 orphans. The goal is to create a stable environment where children can grow into productive members of society.

Acquire land through donations
Build residential facilities, classrooms, and play areas.

PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION
Recruit professional caregivers,
teachers, and counselors.

SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGIES

Establish income-generating projects (e.g., farming, crafts) to reduce dependence on external funding.
Form alliances with local NGOs, churches, and governments.

COMMUNITY INTEGRATION

Introduce farming projects (e.g., poultry or crops) for sustainability.

Engage older children in vocational training, such as tailoring or carpentry, to foster independence.


HEALTH SUPPORT

Provide regular medical check-ups and psychosocial counseling for trauma recovery.

Incorporate HIV/AIDS awareness programs to reduce stigma among affected children.

Collaborate with local leaders, governments, and international NGOs to strengthen the orphanage’s impact.
